Welcome

I always doodled as a kid, but wouldn't take my first art class until College - when I found the world of pastels. I loved the colors, and getting my hands in there, and smudging it all about. I then found lampwork bead making (melting glass with a torch) quite addicting, then on to alcohol inks and fluid art that lets me escape into it.

Alcohol ink on yupo / fluid art / lampwork glass beads & jewelry / paper bead jewelry / photography... I love it all!

I find inspiration in every day life. from seeing a leaf after the rain, with raindrops magnifying the texture beneath, to the smooth glass like surface of the lake I drive past on my way to work. I love texture!
